


aised in Prince Edward County, Travis grew up among great cooks and developed his love of food at an early age. He got his first humble restaurant job at 15, at Angeline’s Restaurant in Bloomfield. After spending many years learning the foundations of French cuisine, and studying Hotel Management at the University of Guelph, Travis embarked on a two-year culinary tour of Japan. Before taking up his current positions as Sous Chef at Claramount Inn and Spa and the Waring House Cookery School Director, he worked as Executive Chef in Banff, Whistler and Victoria B.C.
Travis always happy to share his knowledge and eager to learn new things about cooking and food. He has put together a team of talented, knowledgeable chefs who are also seasoned teachers.
