Located on beautifully groomed and spacious grounds, adjacent to the Millennium Trail; Waring House invites relaxation and rejuvenation. The Main House

The Barley Room Pub (the original homestead) dates back to around 1820. A vintage lover’s dream: four B&B-style guestrooms perched above The PrinceEdward Room and Amelia’s Garden. Renovated but still radiating its original charm, each room features antique décor, en-suite bathrooms, and a TV. Complimentary breakfast awaits just steps from your door.

Our Main House rooms offer a charming, heritage-style stay and do not include mini refrigerators. Mini refrigerators are available in our Lodge rooms.

The Heritage and
Quaker Lodges

Prefer things a touch more modern? These fresh additions blend contemporary comfort with classic County charm. Our 32 lodge rooms feature a range of amenities which can include soaker tubs, gas fireplaces, en-suite bathrooms, and walk-out patios overlooking the Millennium Trail. These lodges strike the perfect balance between “heritage chic” and “I could live here forever.” A large gathering space also makes them ideal for meetings, reunions, or spontaneous wine-tasting clubs.

The House Next Door

A fully restored early Canadian farmhouse central to everything on the property. This building houses 12 guestrooms and features Victorian-era décor. Some rooms come with fireplaces, air-jet tubs, and walk-out private patios. This building offers a comfortable common area, open to all guests, with a gas fireplace and library – perfect for relaxation!

Our House Next Door rooms offer a charming, heritage-style stay and do not include mini refrigerators. Mini refrigerators are available in our Lodge rooms.

The Cottage

A private, stone-built hideaway in the heart of the property – perfect for honeymoons, romantic getaways, or anyone looking for peace and quiet. Enjoy a king-sized bed, soaker tub, fireplace, and a private patio equipped with a two-person hot tub. It’s intimate, dreamy, and blissfully secluded.

Our Land Acknowledgement

Waring House is located on the traditional territory of the Anishinaabe, Haudenosaunee, and Wendat peoples. These peoples have inhabited this land for thousands of years and all who enjoy this property are indebted to them for their historic mutual sharing of the stewardship of the land and the waters of the Great Lakes.
